Dear Diary, it's a brand new day

a brand new day is rising,
i saw its light through the windows.
a day filled with hopes of melting
yesterdays mountains
of frozen tears.
i do believe in second chances,
i do believe in endless fresh starts
i do not worry about the world ending,
it has ended for me so many times
yet began again the next morning.
